Big 5 Hikes

Champagne Castle Hotel has established an historic reputation for its unique ‘Big Five’ hike, a mountaineering challenge that has an honours board in the hotel commemorating those hikers who have climbed all five peaks.

A certificate is also awarded to those who conquer each peak.

The ‘Big Five’ includes the following:

Matterhorn (1 995m)
Gatberg (2 408m)
Amphlett (2 620m)
Sterkhorn (2 973m)
Champagne Castle (3 373m)
