Avoid Oliviershoek Pass along the R74 (alt N3 route)

On 15 March 2022 we were notified by the Okhahlamba Local Municipality that Traffic Authorities have received a directive to close Oliviershoek Pass along the R74 (alt N3 route).

For now they will attempt to close it for trucks only. The road, however, has extensive damage and sinkholes, and is a hazard to motorists.

Please consider avoiding this road if at all possible.
