  We have been loyal patrons of Champagne Castle Hotel for over 3 years, and it is truly our home away from home! Whenever we need a break from the hustle... read more and bustle of life, Champagne Castle Hotel is our hideout! From the service and hospitality to the cleanliness of the rooms and exquisite food, the hotel never ceases to amaze! Our recent visit, this August, deserves special recognition and will go down in our travel books as one of the best stays, we have had!

Both my parents, sister and I are vegetarian and as most vegetarian's would know, eating out can often be a challenge! I sent an e-mai to the hotel prior to our stay requesting for them to inform the chef of our dietary requirements. During our previous stays, the hotel has always catered for our needs but this time, Chef Robert went out of his way to accommodate us. The food was exceptional! Not only was it full of flavour, but there was variety and creativity in every vegetarian dish. He also, constantly checked in with us to make sure that we were comfortable. For lunch, on our last day, Chef made a special meal for us, which was not on the buffet. He calls it "Hawaiian Dream," and he most certainly transported us to an exotic island! Thank you, Chef Robert, for your warmth, creativity and embodying the hospitality that the hotel is known for.

We would also like to make a shout-out to our hiking guide, Rogers. We have been on several hikes with Rogers and every journey into the mountains has been educational. Roger's is extremely knowledgeable about the hiking trails, the flora and fauna that surrounds the area and is very patient with those of us who are not the fastest of hikers! We also thoroughly enjoy his quizz and bingo nights which he hosts with such humour. Thank you, Rogers, for brining such enjoyment to our stay!

Lastly, we would like to also thank the serving staff for always having a smile on your face! A special mention goes out to Innocent who for always making our mealtimes entertaining with his stories. He also never misses an opportunity to teach us a few words of Zulu. He also, always remembers us from our previous stays which is once again testament to the great hospitality that the hotel offers.
